Full-time missionaries and lifelong friends requested assistance with the design of a simple, cost-effective family home at the Crown Mzuzu Farming Training Center.
“I love the design of this house, the high walls/ ceiling gives a feeling of light and space. This is an ideal design for hot seasons, but the fireplace creates a warm gathering place ( kuier plek) in the colder months. My favorite place is the big porch that stretches the whole length of the house. A great place for visits. Marlene did an excellent job, designing a home that is inviting and friendly, that has have a modern feeling with a farmhouse atmosphere.”
